    Australian singer-songwriter, television personality and actress (born 1984)

    Delta Lea GoodremAM (born 9 November 1984) is an Australian singer, songwriter, television personality and actress. Goodrem signed a recording contract with Sony Music at the age of 15. Her debut studio album, Innocent Eyes (2003), topped the ARIA Albums Chart for 29 non-consecutive weeks. It is one of the highest-selling Australian albums and is the second-best-selling Australian album of all time with over four million copies sold.[1]

    Goodrem's second studio album, Mistaken Identity (2004), was recorded while she was undergoing treatment for cancer. It became her second number-one album. In 2007, Goodrem released Delta, her third number-one album, which saw another number-one single, "In This Life". Her fourth studio album, Child of the Universe (2012), produced the single "Sitting on Top of the World". In 2016, her fifth studio album, Wings of the Wild, became her fourth number-one album on the ARIA Albums Chart, while giving her another number-one single, "Wings". Goodrem's most recent and fifth number-one studio album, Bridge over Troubled Dreams was released May 2021.

    The book I’m reading is called “Bridge Over Troubled Dreams” written by Delta Goodrem. She’s an Australian singer-songwriter. I remember the first time I watched her on Neighbours when she was 16 or 17 years old. I do still remember her first album was ‘Born to try’. Even though, I can’t hear her music but I’ve read her lyrics to this day. It is a very beautiful song. The book is an easy flowing read in chapters including her music lyrics. I thoroughly enjoyed from the start to the end. You’ll get to know her early life, she was born two months premature like I was born 6 weeks premature. In this book, she doesn’t like to be seen herself as a famous celebrity. She’s not interested in making money or being famous. She’s interested in making music which is her real passion from when she was a child she loves to sing and dance, even though, she looked up as her music icons such as Coldplays, Elton John, so on.
