Gudimov Pavel Vladimirovich
Pavlo Volodymyrovych Gudimov (born 12 October 1973, Lviv) is a Ukrainian musician, guitarist, art collector, and art manager. Leader of the band Gudimov, former guitarist of Okean Elzy.
Biography.
In 1991, he entered and graduated from the Ukrainian State Forestry University (now the National Forestry University of Ukraine) with a degree in landscape gardening in 1996.
Since 1991, he has been actively involved in music. His first band was "Klan Tyshi" (partners: Denys Glinin, Andriy Golyak, Yuriy Khustochka). 1994-2005 - guitarist of the band "Okean Elzy". In 1998, like the rest of the band, he moved to Kyiv.
In 2001, he founded the architectural studio and gallery "Ya Design". He began organising exhibitions of Ukrainian contemporary art.
In 2005, after leaving the band Okean Elzy, he founded the band Gudimov. He released two albums: "Springboards" (2005) and "Monopoly" (2007).
On 12 April 2007, he founded the Gudimov Art Project cultural holding, which includes the Artbook publishing house, the Accent creative group, the Ya Design architectural studio, the Ya Gallery art centre, and the Gudimov music group.
He is married and has a daughter.
