    Diya Mirza was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Mirza's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Dum" (), the comedy "Pran Jaye Par Shaan Na Jaye" () with Raveena Tandon and the Imran Hashmi foreign "Tumsa nahin Dekha" (). She also appeared in "Blackmail" (), the dramatic adaptation "Parineeta" () with Sanjay Dutt and the musical comedy "Lage Raho Munnabhai" () with Sanjay Dutt. Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like the Shabana Azmi foreign "Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd." (), the Amitabh Bachchan foreign "Shootout at Lokhandwala" () and "Krazzy 4" ().     Dia Mirza Rekhi[1] (born Dia Handrich; 9 December [2]) is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi films. She won the title of Miss Asia Pacific International in after being crowned Femina Miss India Asia Pacific She made her acting debut with the Hindi film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein ().

    She subsequently featured in films including Dus (), Lage Raho Munna Bhai (), Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. () and Sanju (). She co-owned a production house, Born Free Entertainment, with her ex-husband Sahil Sangha.[3][4] After their divorce, she launched her own production house, One India Stories, in She has since starred in the streaming series Kaafir () and IC The Kandahar Hijack ().[5]

    Mirza was born in Hyderabad, India. Her father, Frank Handrich, is a German graphics and industrial fair designer, architect, artist and interior designer based in Munich. Her mother, Deepa, is a Bengali interior designer and landscaper who also volunteers to help alcoholics and drug addicts.
