    My work at West Buckland school began on the 1st of September 
    for  a  period  of  one  academic  year  with  the  purpose  of  developing,  as  a
    teaching  aid,  the  painting  device  discovered  (or  rediscovered)  by  Tim
    Jenison  in  the  film  Tim’s  Vermeer.  In  this  film  Tim  Jenison  provides
    compelling evidence that Vermeer’s paintings were made using a version
    of what he has named ‘the comparator mirror’.

    The West Buckland School

    West Buckland School is fairly typical of modern independent schools in
    Britain. The main school comprises approximately  students between
    the ages of 11 and 18 and a preschool of just under  students between
    the ages of 11 and 4.

    The School boasts many excellent facilities but most notable of all is its
    arts  department.  This  includes  a  very  well­equipped  design  studio,  a
    state­of­the­art  one  hundred  and  twenty  seat  theatre  and  a  fine  art
    department. This department also includes a dedicated art studio in which
    an artist­in­residence is invited to work for one academic year beginning
    each September. I currently hold this position.

    I would like some information about the most-borrowed books, authors and DVDs from each of your libraries so far in

    I understand the time period will be limited to between January 1 and October

    For each of your libraries, please can you list the:
    - top 10 most-borrowed books
    - top 10 most-borrowed authors
    - top 10 most-borrowed DVDs.

    Taking into account all of your libraries, please can you also list the
    - top 10 most-borrowed books
    - top 10 most-borrowed authors
    - top 10 most-borrowed DVDs.

    Please note: There can be multiple titles with the same amount of issues which is why the list is longer than would be expected as the system gives them equal weight in rankings.

    We had a bit of trouble with the top authors, as the no.1 slot in some cases may be blank. This is because baby board books often do not have a specific author attached, so our system displays them all together as a NULL author. In those cases, the actual top author is usually the second one down.

    We have included the Mobile Library too, although stats for that only go up to the end of March.

    Finally, we removed DVDs from our collection last year so the stats for those would be NIL across the board.
